Like Fine Wine, Gets Better With Time

Top 5 Wednesday
Series That Got Better:
Good day Book THOTS! This week’s Top 5 Wednesday’s topic is Series That Got Better. This week’s topic took me a little while to get together so hopefully you enjoy it!
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

I watched the movie before reading the books for once, and I was happy I did it because if I read then watched, I would have hated that damn movie. It did not over the entire first book it more combined the books together. This is a series where you definitely got the whole build up effect. I think the thing I loved the most was that every new book started exactly where the last one stopped.

Fallen Crest Series

I was introduced to Tijan by a friend of mine and the one duology I read by her I was not a big fan of, so my friend told me to read this series. I thought the first book was trash, but interesting trash. It felt like a melodramatic episode of One Tree Hill. Anyway, I kept reading and they slowly got better, still trash but less smelly.

Crazy Rich Asians

I will gush about these books anytime I am given the opportunity and I want you to be aware of that. The first book was good and the next was great and I have yet to read the third because I have issues.

Vampire Academy

When I started reading this series, I was over vampires. I didn’t give a damn anymore thanks to Sparkles Mc Sparklington and his forever confused pale woman Bella. This series surprised me though because it was not corny, and at the age of 18, I didn’t predict everything that happened.
Sweet Valley Jr. High

Although I am no longer excited about this series because I have sadly outgrown it, it is still one of those that the next book is better than the last. This series kept me on my toes in my Tweenagehood (issa word today!). I loved getting to know the Wakefield teens as they made their way through Jr. High and the boy drama was excellent!

Which series got better with time for you? Also, did you watch One Tree Hill?

Ciao Book THOTS!
